Death nets of Arnhem Land

Dolphins and turtles are dying in their hundreds after being caught in discarded fishing nets off the Territory coast, a conservation survey has found.

Fishermen report there is a graveyard at Cape Wessell, in Arnhem Land, where animals drown or suffocate in kilometres of old nets.
